JFK

The Story: JFK’s Death has long been discussed in popular media. It’s one of the most impactful crimes of its time and perhaps of all time. Due to his position of power as president of the United States, his assassination naturally fueled endless speculation around high-level motives and political conspiracy.

John F. Kennedy

Conspiracies, Theories, maybe even eerie?

  1. The Intelligence Community & Cuban Exiles: Bitter over the Bay of Pigs failure and terrified of Kennedy’s plans to rein in covert operations.
  2. Organized Crime: Enraged at Attorney General Bobby Kennedy’s agreement to mob crackdowns after mob bosses felt they helped secure key election votes.
  3. The Military Industrial Complex: Worried about JFK’s early moves toward de-escalating the war in Vietnam, which threatened billions in defense contracts.
  4. Lee Harvey Oswald: Before Lee Harvey Oswald could say a word in court about who pulled the strings, Jack Ruby set out of the shadows to silence him on national television.

The Marilyn Monroe Shadow:

JFK and Marilyn Monroe.

You can’t talk about the eerie atmosphere surrounding JFK’s presidency without bringing up Marilyn Monroe. Her tragic death on August 4, 1962, from an overdose at just 36 years old came a little over a year before Dallas, but the two events remain inextricably linked in popular culture.

For years, rumors swirled about her close ties with both Jack and Bobby Kennedy, with whispers that she knew too much about high-level political dealings, intelligence secrets, and elite power plays. Whether her death was purely a tragic accident or something far more calculated, the timing left a permanent chill over the Kennedy inner circle. It established a dangerous precedent: in the highest corridors of power, intimate secrets and political liabilities had a habit of disappearing before they ever reached a courtroom.

My Thoughts: If any of these conspiracy theories are true, I just have one question: WHY. WHY? Why is ya’ll playin games and then turning around to allegedly kill people because they might “know too much” in the first place? If you don’t want people to know shit, then stop playing gossip like teenage girls.

Damn. Out here just killing a whole president because: LIES! BETRAYAL! ESPIONAGE! Y’all are the ones who can’t keep no secrets.

Iconic.

Until Next Time! 🤍 L.W.
