⭐️Happy Friday, my lovely friends! I wish you a wonderful weekend! This post is going to be a free write on the death of Rebecca Zahau.

On my blog, I have already released a few posts on this case. I have decided to divulge deeper into the controversial death of Rebecca Zahau.

“Just because someone else says this happened and that happened, does not make it true” -MY HEAD.

Who Was Rebecca Zahau? 🌺

🌺Rebecca Mawii Zahau was born on March 15th, 1979, in Myanmar (Burma). She grew up in Falam, Chin State, a town located in the Chin Hills in northwestern Burma, to her father Khua hnin Thang and mother Zung Tin Par.

🌺Rebecca had lived in places like Nepal, and Germany before she eventually moved to the United States.

Rebecca came from a family of Chin ethnicity and was raised as a Protestant. Her parents and most of her family members lived in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Rebecca was known for her happy and warm demeanor. Her family, former personal trainer, and close aquaintances consistently described her as an upbeat, energetic, and warm person who was always happy and smiling when entering a room.

At the time of her death, Rebecca was dating a man named Jonah Shackani, a CEO pharmacudical dude. Jonah had a son from a previous marriage named Max, who was six at the time. Rebecca was very devoted and was a deeply caring caregiver for Max.

The relationship between Max and Rebecca was that of a deeply caring, and loving one. As Rebecca absolutley adored Max. Which makes the tragic event that followed all the more tragic.

I will provide links below at the end of this post if anyone is interested.

Okay, now I will be transitioning into Rebecca’s death, but first I will mention, not in great deal the death of Max Shacknai.

Spreckles Mansion; Coronado, California-July 11th, 2011:

July 11th, 2011: The Fatal Fall Of Max Shacknai

Max, Rebecca, and Xena, Rebecca’s 13-year old sister were all at the Spreckles mansion. Rebecca was in the bathroom downstairs, while Xenea was in another bathroom taking a shower.

While in the bathroom, Rebecca heard a loud noise. She initially thought it was either a loud crash, or a dog.

When Rebecca found Max on the floor in the foyer, Max had landed face-first on the floor and was severley injured. Nearby there were a few scattered soccer balls and a scooter on top of Max’s legs.

Rebecca said that it had appeared Max had fallen from the Mansion’s second-floor railing. A chandlier was also found near Max’s body

Xena called 911 and Max was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, California. This event seemingly set off a trajectory of strange events.

Tensions in the mansion were high as Max’s state in the hospital was increasingly getting worse.

July 12th, 2011; The Spreckles Mansion

Airport drop offs and Pickups: Rebecca dropped her sister, Xena off at the San Diego Airport for her flight home back to Missouri. This would be the last time Xena would see her sister alive.

Later during the day, Rebecca picked up Adam Shacknai, Jonah’s brother from the airport as he was getting in from Memphis, Tennessee.

Adam and Rebecca went to Rady Children’s Hospital to visit Max as he was in critical condition. Later that evening, Rebecca, Adam, and Jonah went out for dinner at a seafood restaurant with a family friend.

Evening: July 12th, 2011; Coronado, California

After having dinner, Jonah returned to Rady Children’s Hospital to be at Max’s bedside along with his ex wife, Dina Ramono.

⭐️Gold star here because Jonah and Dina have alibi’s and witness testimonies for where they were. ⭐️ Gold star means alibi checks out.

Besides considering the circumstances, I think if I were in their shoes I’d definitely be at the bedside of my child if they were in Max’s condition.

There’s no Martha here.. idk.

Anyway, let’s jump back into to the night of July 12th,2011.

Spreckles Mansion; Coronado, California– July 12th

After having dinner, Rebecca and Adam returned back to the Spreckles Mansion. Just ADAM and REBECCA. They returned to the mansion only REBECCA and ADAM. Did y’all get that?

…. Did I mention that only TWO people returned to the Spreckles Mansion, just TWO people; ADAMN and Rebecca.

Do the math. Silently, in your head. Think about it… I’ll wait.

One plus two equals 🟰 2.

Yes. Yes. 🙌 do that math for me baby.

I really hope that is DRILLED in your head.

⭐️The Thirty Six Hour Window ⭐️ please remember this, okay?

As I mentioned earlier, Rebecca, Adam, and Jonah went out to eat, went their separate ways. This would be the last time Jonah saw Rebecca alive.

Oy. I apologize that I keep pausing but I just want to go over a few things before going into this.

✨Disclaimer; this is a free written post on an extremely controversial case. There will be mentions of suicide, nudity, and pure confusion.

I will in fact be going into great detail about Rebecca’s Death ( which part two of this will cover) but I wanted to issue out a disclaimer. Blah blah we know the rules here. I am going to step outside my comfort zone and get busy. Professional L.W. Has entered the chat. 💬 I’ve actually been here this whole time.

We love to see a one woman agency. I am like, Nancy Grace.

Let’s get into the events:

If you remember the sequence of events, then you should have no problem keeping up.

Adam Shacknai had arrived in California from Memphis, Tennessee. He is the younger brother of Jonah Shacknai. Jonah is a wealthy man as he was/ is the CEO of some pharmaceutical company called Medics I believe.

Who is Adam Shacknai?

Adam is the younger brother of Jonah, uncle of Max, and he has worked or still worked as a tugboat captain from Memphis. I am not super interested in him as a person, however he is a very important KEY ANE central figure in Rebecca’s case.

The Proximity: On the night of July 12th, 2011, Adam was staying in the guest house at the Spreckles Mansion. While Rebecca was located in a room not far from where Adam was staying.

Stay with me, people. According to Adam, this is his alibi; upon returning home from dinner, Adam allegedly took an Ambien and went to sleep. That’s it that’s the alibi.

And the San Diego police department? They were like 👍 cool beans, this checks out as not being super suspicious on how two people were in a mansion and one if found dead the next morning. Super not suspicious at all. Absolutely not. (It absolutely is)

Adam stated that he had taken an Ambien and went to sleep. Rebecca was in her room. That night Rebecca was pretty active on the phone; she had spoken to her sister, texted friends, family members.

I already know that Ambien has caused people to do strange things as the effects of this medication are pretty wild.

Some Facts & Timeline for y’all, Fam-

The Incident: July 13th, 2011

As stated before Adam had traveled for Memphis to California two days after Max fell.

✨Time is super timeless because sometimes it can absolutely be IMPECCABLE.✨

I’ll have to return to the timeline a bit later, but essentially here is the sequence of events:

1. Adam was staying in the DETACHED main guesthouse. While Rebecca stayed in the primary residence.
2. 12:50 AM: Rebecca receives a voicemail from Jonah informing her that Max’s condition had taken a bad turn, and that he unfortunately would not survive his injuries.
3. According to forensic investigators, Rebecca’s time of death occurred between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM

OH WOW! The motive is baked right in here like a chocolate chip cookie. I don’t know I just woke up so my brain is vibing.

On the night of Rebecca’s death, witness statements recalled hearing a woman a scream “Help me! Help me!” Followed by the screams being dorwned out by loud music.

Oh. Really? That sounds suspicious to me. Carl, throw me a beat!

There is no Carl here. But I do need a beat.

Can you guys feel the beat of something super suspicious!? Because I can.

Signal me. This is the part where I am going to be diving into the nature, method, and what I find suspicious about her death. In this post I will go over how she was found and the bindings. I’ll also touch on her autopsy, because there’s a crucial piece of information that I find VERY odd.

With that being said, I will issue my usual warning ⚠️ This next portion will contain discussions about suicide (definitely not), nudity, and some other disturbing factors. Discretion is advised. Sigh. 😔 my least favorite part but here we go, I have a job to do, a mission to achieve so alas, let me prepare myself.

Spreckles Mansion; Coronado, California- July 13th, 2011

On the morning of July 13th 2011, 32- year old Rebecca Zahau was found hanging in the courtyard of the mansion. She was nude, bound,and gagged. Who discovered her body? Well none other than Adam Shacknai. According to Adam he had just woken up that morning and saw that Rebecca was hanging from the balcony.

Adam stated that he had just woken up, went to make coffee, and then discovered Rebecca’s body at 6:45 AM.

6:48 AM: Emergency 🚨 phone call and action

1. Adam called 911 to report the discovery
2. He texted his brother Jonah to inform him
3. Before paramedics arrived to the scene, Adam cut the rope holding Rebecca down and attempted CPR.

7:00 AM Onward: Paramedics and police arrived at the scene, where Rebecca was pronounced dead, law enforcement secured the mansion to begin their investigation.

They did NOT do a good job.

Why? When you really take a step back to examine this case, how is it that Adam didn’t hear anything? Yet surrounding houses could hear screams, and loud music.

Supposedly, Adam’s alibi was that he took an Ambien, went to sleep, and heard nothing.

Sure, Jan.

Earlier in the post I hammered down on the fact that there were TWO people on the property that night, and one was found dead in the morning.

How did this happen? The San Diego Police Department just… 🤦🏾‍♀️

If we want to bring ✨logic✨ into this, I will report that Rebecca’s autopsy showed that Rebecca had sustained injuries to her head; (Blunt Force Trauma) typically being hit in the head can produce catastrophic damage. I think it’s not logical that Rebecca hit her own self in the head? And then proceeded to take a red, heavy duty nylon rope, tie it to the bed frame, tie her hands behind her back, tied her legs together and somehow made it outside to the balcony, and tossed herself over the railing.

Literally HOW. The laws of physics would love to speak to law enforcement because what is they talking about?

Then it was discovered that Rebecca had somehow also managed to gag herself with her own blue t shirt. What. How did she do that ?

The Message on the wall:

As investigators concluded their investigation, they simply stuck with the suicide ruling. Stating that Rebecca was feeling immense guilt over what happened to Max, that it overwhelmed her and she took her own life. But who would paint a suicide note? And then write it in the third person.

Good gosh. Well I still have to cover some more for this case but I will end this post here as it’s turning out to be slightly longer than expected.

I hope you all enjoyed the post and took time to take into consideration just how crazy this situation is and why is it that the only other person on the property wasn’t even remotely questioned as a potential suspect?

That to me is extremely shady, disrespectful, disgusting, and straight up dumb. Like look at how Rebecca was found? Seriously? She would’ve had to have an immense amount of willpower to get herself over that balcony while being bound.
