Hola 👋🌟 friends! I hope you’re all doing well. Today I am not writing about true crime in particular, but rather an interesting tidbit that I just wanted to share.

I was debating on researching this in incident but unfortunately I a, crunched for time as school has taken precedence over my blog, and researching especially solo is HARD!

Plus I am currently in the middle of researching about The disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, a case from 1983. I began this week and have written a great majority of it. It’ll probably be split into five parts, mostly because there’s so much interesting theories, information, and mystery surrounding this case.

While I have been working on this, I just realized how bizarre things in this world are and we are honestly living in bizarre times right now.

I was watching Final Destination last Sunday night and I fell asleep 😴 immediately. Yes I have some really strange preferences for “lullabies” but when I woke up, I saw a part in the movie where Alex is watching the news on the Flight 180 explosion, Amazon X-Ray informed me that the footage used in the movie was actually from a REAL plane that exploded upon take off.

The flight was called TWA Flight 800, it exploded on takeoff on July 17, 1996. Among the casualties were all 230 passengers, which while reading it I found very sad. I had never heard of this incident before as back then I was barely even a baby.

But reading about it, definitely made me fill mixed feelings of uncertainty, timing, and life in general.

Now I know the events that followed in the Final Destination was a plot device to move the plot forward, I still found it interesting how it was mostly based off a real life incident.

That movie always has me thinking about the fine line between life and death and how things just… happen and it’s beyond our comprehension.

Still, a neat little thing I thought I would post about as a little filler before my next blog post.
