A few months ago, I deeply contemplated the content I wanted to post here. I considered how I wanted to execute it and more.

My Dad, who is super awesome and sometimes always annoying (lol). Being the great Dad that he is, he recommended a case to me.

SO naturally I accepted. I began my research into one of the most grueling and gruesome individuals. He is the most disturbing, heinous, and brutal man I have EVER heard of.

Richard Benjamin Speck. And I was shook to my very core for several reasons:

1. I’m now studying to be a nurse. I have my associate’s and SOMEDAY I will get my Bachelors degree. So this case hit hard.
2. Because Speck’s Victims were nursing students. Young. Thriving. compassionate. beautiful. Nursing Students.

All of these souls you see above, were brutally taken.

All except one brave survivor who put Speck behind bars..

I can only imagine her pain, suffering, and total horror during this time.

Being quite under a bed for nearly seven hours hearing the screams of not only your classmates, but your friends…

Corazon Amurao– She was a Filipino exchange student who survived the brutal attack on her roommates.

There’s more to the story but we need to start from the beginning…
